The Firehouse is a drop-in recreational program open 3pm-8pm Tuesday-Friday, for youth between the ages of 12-19.

The Firehouse is located @ 132 Church St in Bowmanville under the water tower.
WHAT CAN YOU DO AT THE FIREHOUSE?
The Firehouse has a wide variety of resources for youth ranging from structured sports programs, a pool, ping-pong and air hockey table, computers, videos games (PS4 and XBOX1), free wifi, a fully functional kitchen, snack program and so much more….
WHAT ACTIVITIES ARE OFFERED?
Youth of all ages are welcomed to enjoy the use of our pool table, basketball court, hockey nets, free wifi, computers, and video games (XBOX1/PS4/Nintendo WII). In addition, the youth centre has plenty of baseball gloves, footballs, soccer balls, volleyballs, air hockey, and more…
WHO WORKS AT THE FIREHOUSE?
The Firehouse is adult-supervised by staff that are subject to criminal reference checks and are CPR/First Aid certified. Adult supervision promotes a pro-social environment that ensures the safety and enjoyment of everyone at the centre.
HOW MUCH DOES ALL THIS COST?
The Firehouse Youth Centre offers all of the equipment for use FREE OF CHARGE!
This also includes majority of our trips that come free of charge, with signed permission forms.
HOW CAN YOU GET INVOLVED?
Are you a high school student? Do you need to complete your community service hours to graduate? The Firehouse Youth Centre is a registered charitable program and by volunteering at our centre you can work towards completing your school hours.
Throughout the summer the Firehouse extends its hours to accommodate the additional needs of local youth and offers a number of unique trip based opportunities including but no limited to: Paint balling, Laser Tag, Bowling, Sky Zone, Wonderland, day trips to Cobourg Beach, Movie Nights, and much more!
There is always something fun going on each night Tuesday – Friday at the Firehouse this summer!
